RPM summaries
Fedora list, April 08
These RPM summaries were generated by processing the output of
'yum info'
with the scripts rpmFilter.sh and rpmSummarize.sh. Missing from this list
is just which are installed on any of the fedora8 systems around. The
original list from yum showed over 9300 rpm entries, some 'docs' or 'devel'
or language variants of a main rpm. I cut that down to 490 using
rpmFilter.sh then produced the html here with rpmSummarize.sh -html.
These are just the Summary lines; refer to $doc/rpms*.txt for the full
text. Also some of these should be linked into $docs/unix.txt and other,
existing files. fgh080410
